Face Painting - Points to Note

Here are our guidelines regarding face painting at your party...

We prefer to paint children aged 3 years and over. Younger children will only be painted on obtaining consent from their parent or carer. We do not paint children under 2 years.

We will not paint anyone who is or appears to be suffering from: sickness, cold sores, conjunctivitis, skin conditions such as eczema, open cuts and scratches.

We only use top quality, professional face paints from Grimas and Snazaroo in our work. Brushes and sponges are cleaned or replaced between each painting. The face paint is easily removed using a damp face-cloth or wipe.

We are not liable for allergic reactions to the paints and products used. If in doubt, anyone who has allergies or sensitive skin should not have their faces painted, or should request a skin test at the beginning of the session. If there is no reaction then we would be happy to paint them at the end of the session.

While the face painting is taking place we are fully occupied in providing this service and are not responsible for the entertainment and supervision of the other children at the party at this time. We recommend you provide additional activities to keep the children occupied. This can be provided by the adult(s) booking the party or we are happy to provide another staff member (at additional cost) to assist.
